Run with me here for a second, folks…
I was in this mansion composed of rich brown oak wood, which towered up several stories into the ceiling. There were too many paths, staircases, and rooms, to be able to count on one hand… the stairs felt very elegant, and the whole area seemed to feel real, unlike most dream environments. The whole family was there in various facets. I remember there being some activities before I had the sudden urge to take a video camera, (or a camera phone, not sure which it was) to the rest of the house.
While the camera was filming the house, the view finder came upon one of these staircases, which extended up into a moderately dim room… and there it was, standing in the middle of this doorway, a silhouetted shape in the form of a man. It stood in the frame of the viewfinder, and then leapt over the railing, running away into some other dark recess of the house. I was shocked at first, but became determined to find this thing. I kept looking around the house, and found one crouched in front of the main door. It had red oval eyes, like the way abductees describe Grays, and it coiled in on itself, and dashed right through me - sending a strange shock through my body. I believe it was attempting to knock me over, but it failed.
I became angry, and wanted to find more of them, if they wanted to attack me, I’d bring the fight to them. I got my wish. I believe I alerted the rest of the family, and presented them with proof, because at one point they were following me through the dark, helping me seek these things out.
Soon, silhouettes with crimson eyes were surrounding me, dashing into me, and attempting to toss me to the floor, or tear me to shreds, but I would not waver. My will power was too strong, and I surged my solar chakra to get some distance from them and began the process of gathering some real energy. The dream cut to a different setting, like a movie changing scenes when it wasn’t supposed to. The camera was gone, so my method of seeing them was removed, and I was standing in line somewhere… temporarily alleviated that the shadow people were gone… except, I was aware of what had just happened, I was aware that that couldn’t possibly be the end of it. I saw through them, whoever the hell they were, and when that strange pushing and pulling began again, I began unleashing my will power upon whatever was next to me. I began screaming, battle cries really, brought my arms in on my chest, and crossed them. I focused, and I released everything I had.
And then, I woke up.
I’d all but written it off as just an abnormal nightmare, except, there was really no reason for me to dream about a mansion, and shadow people… I felt this chill about me all throughout my morning hours (which are at night these days), while I did my early morning research.
Now, here’s the reason why I feel that the place was a real, tangible, place. It had the same ethereal feeling as that other place that I went to when I was younger, which was in the shape of one of my former rooms. It’s an intangible feeling, something that just feels out of place that you’d normally not notice in a dream. Somehow you know you’re dreaming, except you still go through all the motions, and remember almost all of the details afterward. An energy being attacked me in a place like that when I was 15-16 years old… but I defeated it by focusing my will through a single word (and cursing at it a whole lot). I believe now that it was a malicious entity that had been following me throughout the house for weeks on end, before that particular dream occurred. I’d stare that thing down often, and tell it to leave. It felt like the purest of evil, when it would stare at me, and follow me around.
This felt the same way, and I somehow feel as though these two events might be connected to something that I saw when I was a child. The image shown above are of an entity known as “Hat Man”, a term that was coined by this blogger. If you visit that page and take a look at the opening image, you’ll see what I saw when I was going to sleep one night. This thing was standing outside the sliding glass door of my house (at that time, my room connected to a sliding glass door that lead out into the backyard. I covered my face with the blanket and went to sleep.
The next morning, I woke to find my brother and father inspecting the sliding glass door… it had been broken in the lower right hand corner. This memory, and its strangeness, has stuck with me all through my life.
I’ll tell you guys something else. When I went to work last night, and discussed this dream with a friend of mine (we’re night workers, we talk about some strange things from time to time) the electronic door at the front of the store started opening and closing by itself… we both noticed this after I finished telling my story, and we walked out there. I felt that coldness, goosebumps on my body and neck, and felt as though there was something there… unseen. The boss had to turn the door off. The door hadn’t been malfunctioning at all, either, as it was working fine later on, after the sun rose. Strange? I think so.
